Pritha Banerjee is a policy researcher working mainly on the issues of the rural sector. Her areas of work have been input subsidies and farm investments in Indian agriculture, rural livelihoods, and gender issues for the most part. Pritha holds an MPhil in Economics from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining BRLF, she worked with the Centre for WTO Studies at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER).
