Deepak Saraswat is a Ph.D. student at The University of Connecticut (UConn). His areas of interest include labour, development and behavioural economics. His current work focuses on the impact of academic goal-setting for students, role of technology in mitigating the impact of heat and humidity in India, job loss and marital dissolution in the US, and the impact of academic probation on student’s outcomes in the US. Before joining UConn, Deepak received a B.A. (Hons.) Economics from University of Delhi and M.Sc. Economics from University of Essex, and worked with J-PAL (Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab) South Asia as a Research Manager.
