Sarur Chaudhary is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Cambridge. His research interests span international trade, digital economy and development economics. He looks to study how integration into global markets is affected by advancements in technology and infrastructure. He is also interested in understanding how firms in developing economies are impacted by changes in the policy landscape.
His previous research experience involves work with the World Bank and J-PAL. As part of his work with J-PAL, he also served as consultant to multiple state governments in India. Sarur holds an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
