Poonam Panda is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia. She has worked on labour market projects in Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand. Previously, she worked with a community-based organisation which worked towards livelihood enhancement and local governance of the tribal communities in Kalahandi, Odisha. She holds a Masters in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex and a Masters in Women Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
