Karn Satyarthi is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (2016 batch), currently serving as Director of Land Acquisition, Land Records and Measurement, Government of Jharkhand. Previously, he held the position of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rajmahal. His research interests include land laws, urban development, and development policy. He is a Mining Engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur, and hold a Master’s degree in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
