Frances Lu is a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Economics at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Her research is in the fields of labour and development economics, and focusses on the topics of gender and inequality. Prior to joining UCSD, she worked as a Research Assistant on projects affiliated with J-PAL South Asia and received a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
