A. Nilesh Fernando is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame. His research focusses on frictions in labour markets and the agricultural sector in the developing world. His most recent work explores labour market intermediaries, migration, labour mobility, and information frictions in agriculture.
He received his PhD from Harvard University in 2015 and his BA from Hampshire College in 2007.
