Santosh Kumar Dash is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, Anand. His research focuses on empirical macroeconomics and public finance, particularly inflation, growth, GST, and public debt sustainability. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai. His work has appeared in journals such as Economic Modelling, Journal of Quantitative Economics, Economics Bulletin, Journal of Public Affairs, and Economic and Political Weekly. He writes regularly for major English dailies including The Hindu, Business Line, Mint, The Indian Express, and Business Standard.
