Poulomi Chakrabarti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. Her research examines how social identity – ethnicity, class, and status – shapes political mobilisation and redistributive politics. She uses an interdisciplinary theoretical and multi-methodological approach to examine the effects of identity politics in India.
