Niyati Agrawal is a Research Associate with the Household Finance Research Initiative at Dvara Research. She has worked on projects related to the portfolios of Indian households. Her work specifically focusses on low-income households, their savings and investment patterns, along with their life-cycle goals. Her research interests also lie in the field of consumer protection and welfare, as well as behavioural sciences and development studies. Prior to this, she was with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as a Consultant, where she worked on the collection and compilation of the Index of Industrial Production. Niyati obtained her Masters in Economics from Ashoka University.
