Nidhi has a postgraduate degree in sociology. She led the SARI (Social Attitudes Research for India) data collection and worked as a research fellow with r.i.c.e (research institute for compassionate economics). Some of her research interests are caste in modern India, gender inequality, and education as an economic and social good.
