Nabanita Datta Gupta is Professor of Economics and Business at Aarhus University, Research Fellow at IZA (Institute of Labor Economics), Germany and is currently serving as a member of the Chairmanship of the Danish Economic Councils. She received her Ph.D. in Labour Economics from Cornell University, 1992. Her research interests include gender wage differentials, discrimination, education, retirement and pension systems, health economics, behavioural economics, and micro-econometric analyses of economic development. Her research has been published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Public Economics, and Health Economics, among others.
