Manisha Mukherjee is a Ph.D. Fellow at United Nations, Maastricht, Netherlands. Her research focusses on climate change-induced migration in India and consequent implications on rural poverty and inequality. She holds a Bachelors in Economics from Presidency University, Kolkata, and a Masters in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata Centre. She has also worked as Research Assistant in Climate Change and Sustainable Development team at ICRIER, New Delhi.
