Gabriele Ciminelli is an economist with broad policy and research interests, spanning fiscal and monetary policy, labour markets, international finance and political economy. Currently, he works in the OECD Economics Department. Before joining the OECD, he was Assistant Professor at the Asia School of Business and Research Affiliate at MIT Sloan. Previously, he worked in the Research Department of the IMF. Gabriele holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Tinbergen Institute and the University of Amsterdam and an M.A. in International Relations from Bologna University
