Andrés Parrado is a Masters in International Development (MPA/ID) candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. He has extensive experience working at the intersection of policy and research in fields that include unconditional cash transfers, financial inclusion, and education. Andrés also works in the data and technology team at GiveDirectly, where he serves as the technology lead for projects in Malawi, Rwanda, Morocco, Uganda, and Liberia. He was also previously a Manager in the New Delhi office at IDinsight, where he led several projects in using insights from behavioral sciences to improve financial inclusion in some of India's poorest districts. Andrés holds a Bachelors in East Asian Studies from Princeton University and a Masters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
