Andres Yi Chang is an Economist at the World Bank Human Development Chief Economist Office, where he also serves as the education Service Delivery Indicators (SDI) Program Manager. Previously he served as a Research Analyst and Data and Survey Lead at the World Bank Research Development Group.
Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked as a Research Assistant at Yale University and as a Consultant at the Organization of American States, the Pan American Health Organization, and Leibniz University of Hannover. His research and projects are related to education, health, and social development in low and middle-income countries, particularly in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in International and Development Economics from Yale University.
