Sugat Chaturvedi is an Assistant Professor at the Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University. His research is at the intersection of labour economics, political economy, and innovation, focusing on topical social and economic issues, including women's labour force participation in South Asia, the impact of emerging technologies on jobs, and the policy impacts of political representation of women and minorities.
Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex and served as a Visiting Faculty in the Department of Economics at Ashoka University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi.
