H. Ravi Kumar, a post graduate in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi has been associated with several Non-Government Organisations in Andhra Pradesh for around 15 years. He has had a long association with Watershed Support Services and Activities Network (WASSAN) based in Hyderabad. As part of it, he has worked on MNREGA implementation systems and policy issues since inception of the scheme. The other main area of his work is collaborating with various peoples' organisations as well as with the government on the agenda of pro-poor land reforms. He is also a member of the National Consortium of CSOs on MNREGA. He is currently working as an independent researcher and consultant, and is based in Hyderabad.
