Rachel M. Gisselquist is a Senior Research Fellow and member of the Senior Management Team of the United Nations University’s World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). Her work and publications focus on issues of inequality, ethnic and identity politics, the political economy of development, foreign aid, and governance and state-building, with particular attention to sub-Saharan Africa.
