Priyam Das is an Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her primary research area is water governance in the Global South. Her current research focuses on community-managed water supply and sanitation for the urban poor in Madhya Pradesh, India. Priyam received her Ph.D. in Urban Planning from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University. She also has professional experience working as an architect and landscape designer in India and the United States.
