Nishant is a researcher and activist working on urban mobility for nearly a decade. He holds B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in civil engineering from IIT Kanpur, and a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, where he developed a critical realist and relational approach to justice in urban mobility. He presently coordinates the Public Transport Forum and had previously founded the People's Resource Centre, Delhi. His research bridges academia and activism, engaging with civil society and movement groups.
