Michael Geruso is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University and, prior to joining Texas, was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy at Harvard University. Mike serves on the board of the Research Institute for Compassionate Economics (www.riceinstitute.org). His research includes analysis of US health insurance markets and the impacts of sanitation on health.
