Mahima Vasishth is a Non-Resident Associate Fellow at the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) and a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Laboratory for Effective Anti-poverty Policies, Bocconi University. Her research interests lie in the fields of labour, development, and public economics. She specialises in understanding the factors that shape women’s economic and social participation, and the criminal justice system in developing economies.
She has previously worked at the International Monetary Fund as a Fund Intern, where she co-authored a paper on the participation of women in the Fintech industry across countries, as users and leaders. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
