Gowtham Muthukkumaran T is a Ph.D. student at the School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. His research interests include economic behaviour and organisation, industrial policy, and economic geography. His thesis explores different aspects of subcontracting in the Indian apparel manufacturing industry, such as its nature, determinants, the effect of policy and its performance consequence. He has also worked on a research project on the economic geography of different manufacturing industries.
