Before joining FLAME, he was an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Human Development, Ranchi, India. He has also provided research support for the Economic Survey of Jharkhand 2015-16 and 2018-19, Government of Jharkhand. He was also a part of a Government of Jharkhand sponsored evaluation program on creating awareness about protecting the environment and biodiversity.
He holds a Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University.
