Benston John is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and a doctoral student at the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics (DSE). He did B.A. Honours in economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi (2006-2009) and master's in economics from Delhi School of Economics (2009-2011). He worked as a Research Associate at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad before joining St. Stephen’s College, Delhi as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He has taught undergraduate-level courses in development economics, game theory, and econometrics. His research interests include applied microeconomics, development economics, and the economics of health and education.
