Abhishek Arora is a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Harvard University. He has previously worked with Prof. Melissa Dell as a pre-doctoral fellow at Harvard on projects that involve the use of cutting-edge Natural Language Processing and vision techniques to analyse novel datasets.
Before that, he worked as a consultant at the World Bank working with Dr. Vijayendra Rao, Dr. Siddharth George and Dr. M. R. Sharan. He has also worked as a research assistant with Dr. Farzana Afridi and Dr. Kanika Mahajan on projects related to female labour force participation, marriage markets, and access to cooking fuels in India. He has also worked with economists and political scientists from Harvard University, New York University, North Western University, Delhi School of Economics, King’s College London, and Michigan State University on different projects.
Abhishek has a Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi University.
