Muhammad Yasir Khan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, and Fellow at the Center for Governance and Markets at the University of Pittsburgh and Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
His research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, behavioural economics, and political economy. His work has appeared in the Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of Public Economics, and Journal of Development Economics.
His PhD is from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. He did his undergraduate at LUMS in Pakistan, and did double masters at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore and the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, New York.
