Divya Shukla is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economic Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). In her thesis, she examines the effect of court efficiency on business performance in India. Before joining IIT Kanpur’s Ph.D. programme, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and Master’s degree from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. Her research interests lie in the fields of institutional economics and development economics.
