Abhishek Dureja is a Research Scholar at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai. His primary research interests include health economics, development economics, risk and insurance, and applied econometrics. His current work focusses on the welfare consequences of health shocks, and the associated ex-post risk-coping strategies used by poor rural agricultural households in developing countries.
