K.P. Krishnan is Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. He is an IAS officer of 1983 batch. He was most recently posted as  Additional Secretary (Capital Markets), Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. He has been previously posted as Secretary, Economic Advisory Council to the PM and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
