Ajit Kumar Nayak has been working as a Scientist (Probationer) at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) since January, 2013. Prior to this, he worked as a Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellow (PMRDF) under the Ministry of Rural development, Government of India. He has also taught engineering graphics, hydrology and fluid mechanics at IIIT, Nuzvid.
He has a post graduate degree in Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of technology (IIT), Kharagpur. His research interests pertain to turbulent fluid flow. His video lecture and e-book on engineering drawing and graphics has been accepted by a number of engineering colleges in India.
Is the District Innovation Fund being utilised?

The 13th Finance Commission has recommended the creation of a District Innovation Fund in each district. The objective of the fund is to increase the efficiency of existing capital assets by filling vital gaps in public infrastructure projects that are near completion.
