It is akin to say SC/STs are more prone to corruption than Upper caste. Have you considered that "Women are poor in relation to Men" and because of their "rising aspiration to acquire Power,Wealth and Status like their male counterparts" could maybe the reason for their more dishonest than male counterparts? Also, in many situations, women are just a front for many male leaders. And more dishonest men does that kind of putting their womenfolk in front as leaders due to the women reservations. This needs more dishonesty than normal levels on part of the men in this situation. Hence, the dishonesty of men is reflecting badly on the women's dishonesty level in your research, which actually is the dishonesty of the men behind these women, in whose hands the real power of these elected women lies with?
